Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! A truly enjoyable film with good audio and visual standards, especially considering it was released 82 years ago. See the detailed reviews below for more details.

According to ffmpeg, the video codec is mpeg4. That is a very common codec.

Subject: Very enjoyable
Good French farce with plenty of zing and kerfuffle, topped with sauce. E.E. Horton carries it through with his comic face and mannerisms - he's playing an absurdly improbable (okay, impossible) double role, but that should hardly be an issue in this kind of movie. The leading ladies do well, but honours go to Maude Eburne. She's always a hoot but is given a chance really to let go in this one - and does so. Altogether enjoyable, with a picture and sound quality that make it possible to watch without wincing (641Mb DL). All 85 min are present.

Great movie. Funny, even sexy. Works great in Windows, if you know what you're doing. Watched it in Windows and on Ubuntu. Worked well in both.

What a treat this movie is! Great screenplay. For a movie from 1931 the audio and video is very good. If you're looking for a well acted and funny movie take a chance-you won't be disappointed.

Subject: whats the codec?
I downloaded the cinepack versuon but only had audio, no video?

Subject: Good One
Edward Everett Horton heads a fine cast in this engaging, risque, fast paced, screwball comedy. I missed some of the banter at the beginning as several of the actors deliver their lines quickly, so I'd recommend paying close attention to this clever screenplay from the start.

I downloaded the 641MB AVI file. The video quality was fine, and, happily, for an early talkie, the audio quality was too.
